Opened in 2016 in Baa Atoll's UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to Hanifaru Bay, Milaidhoo Island Maldives calls its approach 'reinvented luxury' - a boutique, story-driven take on the classic Maldivian resort. The tiny island measures just 300 by 180 metres and is ringed by its own protected coral reef, prized as a snorkelling and diving site in its own right, with transfers running 35 minutes by seaplane or a mix of a short domestic flight and speedboat. Set on its own island in the untouched waters of Raa Atoll, Heritance Aarah is an all-villa resort ringed by turquoise lagoon, healthy reef, and abundant marine life.
